English for Academic Course
Duration : 30 hr
The course will provide framework for reading, writing and discussing contemporary scientific issues based on selections from texts related to the field of science.
>> การคัดเลือกครูผู้สอน :
(1) คัดเฉพาะอาจารย์ที่มีความสามารถทางภาษาสูง สำเร็จการศึกษาจากต่างประเทศ ต้องเคยอาศัยอยู่ในต่างประเทศไม่น้อยกว่า 10 ปี หรือได้คะแนนสอบในระดับเต็มหรือเกือบเต็ม
(2) มีความพร้อมด้านจิตวิทยาการเป็นครูสอนภาษา ด้วยกระบวนการ Pre-Scan TUTOR
ทั้งนี้จะต้องมีลักษณะการสอนที่โดดเด่นกว่าครู/อาจารย์ ที่สอนทั่วไป พร้อมทั้งมีกระบวนการคิด สรุปเป็นขั้นตอน เข้าใจด้วยเทคนิคง่ายๆ
(3). พัฒนาอัตราค่าจ้างสอนที่สูงกว่าท้องตลาด30%-40% และการควบคุมคุณภาพการสอนอย่างใกล้ชิด เพื่อให้ครูพร้อมทุ่มเทและถ่ายทอดอย่างเต็มประสิทธิภาพ
(4) สอนโดยอ.ไทยและต่างชาติหลายท่าน กรณีอาจารย์ต่างชาติ จะต้อ ที่ผ่านการคัดเลือกมาอย่างดีที่สุดแล้วเท่านั้น
>> ขั้นตอนการจัดตาราง:
1) ประเมินองค์ความรู้ของเด็กจาก ฐานคะแนนเดิม หรือ แบบทดสอบที่ สถาบันฯจัดให้
2) กำหนดเป้าหมาย ร่างตารางให้ผู้เรียนแต่ละคนเห็นภาพรวมของตน
3) ประสานครูที่ เหมาะสมกับทักษะของผู้เรียนแต่ละคน โดยเน้นผู้เรียนเป็นสำคัญ ทั้งนี้ผู้เรียนหนึ่งท่าน จะต้องเจอผู้สอนมากกว่า 4 ท่านเพื่อให้เกิดความหลากหลายในการเรียนรู้
4) เมื่อเรียนไปแล้วครึ่งทาง ต้องมีการ วิเคราะห์ความเป็นไปได้และ ชี้จุดอ่อน เพื่อเพิ่มจุดแข็งของผู้เรียน
5) ประสานครู และผู้เรียนให้เป็นหนึ่งเดียว วิเคราะห์แบบ 360 องศาเพื่อผลคะแนนตามเป้า
>> Course Goals: To consolidate the students’ knowledge of the type of English that could be used for scientific purposes.
>> Course Objectives: By the end of the course, students should be able to do the following:read texts, identify main ideas and details and make inferences,explain graphs, tables and diagrams,discuss information, make suggestions and express opinions, make notes, outlines and summaries ,write a cohesive report.
